The Cosy 141 industrial router is the most cost-effective solution for machine manufacturers, OEMs and system integrators for remote maintenance of machines and systems via the Internet. A VPN tunnel to the Cosy industrial router is established via the free eCatcher connection software to ensure secure remote maintenance.
Configuration is simple via the integrated web server or FTP server.
The Ethernet-to-serial gateway function offers the option of connecting older devices and PLCs with RS232, RS422, RS485 or MPI/Profibus interfaces via Ethernet.
The associated Talk2M connection portal provides central user and device management as well as additional security functions.

Security:
Open VPN 2.0 in SSL UDP or HTTPS mode. SSL / TLS is used for session authentication and the ESP protocol for secure tunnel transport via UDP. X509 PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) is supported for session authentication, the TLS protocol for "key exchange", the cipher-independent EVP interface (DES, 3DES, AES, BF) for the encrypted tunnel connection and the HMAC-SHA1 algorithm for the tunneled data. Connection release optionally possible via key switch. Two-way authentication possible.
