The Ewon COSY+ remote maintenance gateways are designed for an industrial environment for use at the machine. They are equipped with security functions to protect your machine network from unauthorized access.

The plus in security
With the integrated secure element chip, connection keys are securely stored in the device and the use of tamper-proof firmware and a secure boot sequence are supported. This means that only signed software code can be executed. A certificate of origin for each device is used to check authenticity in order to prevent cloning and counterfeiting. The encryption standards for VPN connections have been further enhanced.

For central device and user management. It establishes the connection between the users (e.g. service technicians) and the Ewon router via VPN.

Firewall-friendly

Commissioning via SD card
A backup can be loaded by inserting an SD card. All or only individual parameters can be changed.
Automatic Talk2m registration via a configuration file on the SD card is also possible.
USB connection
Once the Talk2m connection has been established, the USB port of the COSY+ router is available locally on the connected PC. This means that automation devices with a USB configuration interface can be used as if they were connected locally.
