Application file:

The KNX gateways are not configured via an application file that is integrated into the ETS, but via the gateway's free configuration software.

The gateway can be integrated into an existing KNX installation and access the desired physical and group addresses without having to touch or even change the existing ETS project again. The ETS project only needs to be changed/adapted if group addresses are to be/need to be extended or added.
