The HD67879-A1-XX is an IO-Link master (Client)/EtherCAT Server Gateway. It allows you to connect several IO-Link slaves (such as sensors or actuators) to an EtherCAT Client (Master), enabling the exchange of information between the two networks. This Gateway is very easy to configure and allows you to connect an IO-Link system to the EtherCAT network. Further information about this Gateway is available upon request. IO-Link Port A:
The IO-Link Port A (IO-Link Class A) is a removable 4-pin screw terminal to which sensors and actuators with low input power can be connected.
The maximum input power is 200 mA.
IO-Link Port B:
The IO-Link Port B (IO-Link Class B) is a removable 5-pin screw terminal to which actuators can be connected. This IO-Link Port B requires a separate auxiliary power supply.
EtherCAT Data Rate
The maximum data rate depends on the connected Master.
IO-Link data rate:
4,800 bps - 38,400 bps - 230,400 bps
IO-Link Process Data:
Read 32 bytes and write 32 bytes per IO-Link channel

18 VDC to 30 VDC
Aux power supply:
The auxiliary power supply is the additional power source for the I/O-Link Ports B (I/O-Link Class B) and is 24 VDC.
The required current depends on the input power required by the connected I/O-Link devices that are connected to the I/O-Link ports B.
