The programmable fieldbus node NA9379 extends the modular, decentralized I/O system of the FnIO series with a PLC. The multitasking-capable 32-bit controller was developed on the basis of the latest technologies in order to guarantee maximum performance and maximum user-friendliness. a good overview of the current device status. The two Ethernet interfaces are designed as a switch and enable a line topology in the network wiring. The serial interface (RS232/RS485) is not only used for communication with serial terminal devices, but also allows basic configuration of the PLC (Modbus RTU slave) with a Modbus RTU master. A start/stop switch and a reset button are located under the cover on the front. The electrical connection is safe and very easy to implement thanks to the patented Crevis clamping technology. The PLC recognizes all types of plugged-in terminals (digital and analogue) and automatically creates the process image.
The NA9379 can be used with all expansion modules in the FnIO series and combines the high flexibility of modular plug-in technology with the performance of a PLC.
