As a slave, the NA9289 fieldbus node establishes the connection between the FnIO system and the Modbus TCP/IP fieldbus. The I/O modules used are automatically recognized and the fieldbus node creates a local process image.
The internal process image of the NA9289 fieldbus node is stored in the memory of the relevant controller via the Modbus TCP/IP fieldbus. By dividing the process image into an input and output data area, the process data is read in via the Modbus, processed further in a controller and the process output data is output via the Modbus.
The automatically generated process image is created in the order of the expansion modules in their slots.
