- The analog input module processes signals from resistance thermometers and resistors
- Galvanic isolation of the input signal from the system level with a resolution of 12 bits
- Power supply via internal system voltage
- Common ground potential of the input channels

The 2-channel resistance thermometer input module allows the direct connection of Pt resistance sensors and resistors and can be connected using 2-/3-wire technology, with linearization over the entire temperature range performed by the bus terminal. A short circuit or interruption of the sensor cable as well as an out-of-range condition is indicated by a red error LED.
