Advanced strain gauge signal converter WZ-SG2
1 output optional: 0/4 mA to 20 mA, 0 V to 5/10 V, 1 digital output
- Scalable input for 4- or 6-wire strain gages
- Programming via Micro-USB data cable
- Taring input and serial RS485 interface
- Configurable sampling rate, resolution and alarm threshold
- Counting function
- Automatic tare function
- Recording of minimum and maximum net weights
- Data logging function
- Quick and safe adjustment
- High fire safety thanks to the flame-retardant fiberglass/nylon housing
- 3-way insulation ( power supply / signal input / signal output ) up to 1500 VAC

In addition to converting the input signal into a scalable standard signal, the microprocessor-controlled transducer for strain gages WZSG also offers the option of a taring function or an output for outputting when a threshold value is reached. The Advances variant has the option of configuring the resolution and sampling rate, as well as defining any alarm threshold. This version also has a counting function, the recording of minimum and maximum net weights, an automatic taring function and a data logging function (free additional software EASY Setup). The output signal can be provided as an analog current or voltage signal. The WZSG module also converts the input signals into a MODBUS RTU protocol. The data can be made available to corresponding evaluation devices via an RS485 interface. This means that the use of a controller is not necessary. The device is fully set up using the programming cable and simple software and is immediately ready for operation. The WZSG is simply snapped onto a DIN rail for installation.
