This small universal controller is an all-rounder. With a universal input for almost all commercially available temperature sensors, potentiometers and process signals, a universal power supply and modern programming, operating and control technologies, this controller can be used for almost all applications. In addition to an excellent price/performance ratio and high quality, the controller impresses with its robust housing and brilliant display.

Display:

2-line LED display
Upper line: Actual value, 4 digits, green with 10.2 mm digits
Lower line: setpoint, 4 digits, red with 7.6 mm digits

Indicators:

Eight red indicators for control outputs, alarm statuses,
serial communication and tuning.
C1, C2 ON when output is active
C1 as relay/SSR/mA/Volt output or C1 (open)
and C2 (closing) for electrical control valves
A1,A2,A3 ON if an alarm is present
MAN ON if the "manual" function is switched on
TUN ON if the controller is running in the "Autotune" cycle
REM ON for serial communication

3 buttons for programming and setting the
setpoint.

Measurement cycle:

programmable up to 4.1 msec (242 Hz).

User input:

Switchable via potential-free contact.
(Not possible for all sensor types with the UR484802).
Alternatively adjustable functions: Hold/freeze values, ON/OFF
for the auto-tuning function, switching from automatic to manual function,

setpoint 1 to 4.

analog output 0 VDC to 10 VDC or 0/4 mA to 20 mA with a resolution of
resolution of 4000 steps. Programmable as control output or
transmission of actual value/setpoint. SSR output 12VDC at max. 30 mA.

Programming:

Programming and operation is menu-driven
menu-guided via the front buttons. With the programming kit, the
controller can also be programmed using Windows ™ software.
This software is compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 10.
The memory card has an internal battery. This makes it possible to
devices can be programmed without connecting the power supply
(up to 1000 programings with one battery).

Functionality:

The basic version includes a control output for two-point control
(with hysteresis) with P, PI, PD and PID behavior is included. The
output is time-proportional. In addition, a cycle control
for a control valve can be programmed.

Alarm operating modes:

They switch when the temperature exceeds or falls below
temperature or deviation; band alarm; limit value or continuous
continuous signal switching.
