The HD6702003 and HD6702010 level converters enable communication between M-Bus slaves and a serial RS232 interface. They convert the M-Bus physics to a serial interface. The protocol properties are not affected. The converters can be put into operation without configuration software. The same baud rate is used on the M-Bus side as on the serial side. The converters automatically detect the baud rate on the serial side. Top-hat rail mounting and screw terminals ensure fast, secure installation and problem-free wiring of the device.

Echo of RS232 data:

This echo function cannot be deactivated.
If this is not desired, the level converter HD67021 must be used as an alternative; this does not send back an echo of the RS232 data.
