The HD67E04-A1 is an EtherCAT server (slave) / Modbus TCP server (slave) gateway. It allows to connect an EtherCAT client (master) (such as a Beckhoff PLC, OMRON PLC, etc.) to a Modbus TCP client (master) (e.g. a PLC, a SCADA system, etc.) to exchange the information between the networks. On the EtherCAT side, there are two Ethernet ports for EtherCAT IN and OUT connections: They enable line and ring topology (for simple redundant communication). Easy and fast integration of the EtherCAT server gateways into the master configuration thanks to the ESI file created with the SW67E04 software.
