At the end of September, the Wachendorff Group celebrated this year's summer party - this year in the spirit of the company's 40th anniversary and therefore in a special setting.
Managing Director Robert Wachendorff had invited guests from all over the world. And they gladly responded to his call to the Rheingau in large numbers. More than 200 people - family, friends, companions, partner companies and, last but not least, employees and their partners - came together to celebrate a lavish anniversary party.
In his welcoming speech, Robert Wachendorff described the company's journey in an amusing way: the nucleus, the family's living room in Johannisberg in 1978; the move to Industriestrasse 7 in 1987; right up to the purchase of expansion space in 2018. It was fitting that the very first Wachendorff apprentice was present that evening as a guest of honor.
"You are the cornerstones of our global growth," said Robert Wachendorff, welcoming the technical distributors who ensure that the innovations "Made in Geisenheim" find their customers all over the world.
He praised his employees as the "foundation of continuous, healthy growth under their own steam" and thanked their families for "keeping their backs free in stressful times". He expressly emphasized that "this celebration is to be seen as a thank you to his employees, and at the same time he is looking forward to many more years of working together as partners, because in recent years the basis for a successful future for the Wachendorff Group has been created at the Geisenheim site."
A celebration like this does not organize itself, and so Robert Wachendorff thanked the entire team in front of and behind the scenes, which had been working towards this event for six months under the leadership of Berenike Wachendorff.
The long applause from all the guests confirmed that the host and the organization team had found the right words and the perfect setting for this anniversary celebration. And so the party went on until the early hours of the morning.
