PID universal controller of the PXU series
PID controller in 48 x 48; 48 x 96 and 96 x 96 mm format. Universal input for thermocouples, temperature sensors and process signals.
- PID controller in 48 x 48; 48 x 96 and 96 x 96 mm format
- Programmable via keypad or software
- 24 VDC/AC or 100 to 240 VAC power supply
- Universal input for process signals, thermocouples, Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000 and potentiometers
- 2-line, 4-digit LCD display (orange and green)
The PXU controller has a universal input for almost all commercially available thermocouples (type: K,S,R,J,T,E,N,B,L,U), temperature sensors (Pt100) as well as for process signals from 0 to 5/10 VDC, 0/4 to 20 mA or 0 to 50 mV. It can provide a precise output control signal to maintain a process at a specific setpoint. The two-line, 4-digit display allows simultaneous display of temperature/process and setpoint. Indicators on the display inform the operator of alarm and control output status. Comprehensive programming features allow this controller to meet a wide range of application requirements. The PXU controller allows the user to choose between PID, on/off and manual control. The control outputs can be individually configured for reverse or direct (heating or cooling) applications. The PID constants can be programmed (required software: Crimson 2.1) or fine-tuned via the front buttons or a PC. The PXU consists of a lightweight, highly impact-resistant, black plastic housing with a clear viewing window. Modern surface mounting technology, extensive testing and high immunity to interference make the control unit extremely reliable in industrial environments.
