SPS und IO-Systeme FnIO NA9122, FnIO-Modul - PROFIBUS-DP/V1 Feldbusknoten NA9122

As a slave, the NA9122 fieldbus node establishes the connection between the FnIO system and the PROFIBUS fieldbus.
The I/O modules used are automatically recognized and the fieldbus node creates a local process image. The order of the analog extension modules (data exchange word by word) and digital extension modules (data exchange bit by bit) is arbitrary and can be mixed. The internal process image of the NA9122 fieldbus node is stored in the memory of the relevant controller via the PROFIBUS fieldbus. By dividing the process image into an input and output data area, the process data is read in via the PROFIBUS, further processed in a controller and the process output data is output via the PROFIBUS.
The automatically generated process image is created in the order of the
expansion modules in their slots.
The bits of the digital expansion modules are combined into bytes and appended to the analog data. If the number of digital I/Os exceeds 8 bits, an additional byte is started by the fieldbus node.
