As a slave, the NA9112 fieldbus node establishes the connection between the FnIO system and the DeviceNet.
The I/O modules used are automatically recognized and the fieldbus node creates a local process image. The order of the analog expansion modules (data exchange word by word) and digital expansion modules (data exchange bit by bit) is arbitrary and can be mixed.
be mixed. The internal process image of the NA9112 fieldbus node is stored in the memory of the relevant controller via the DeviceNet. By dividing the process image into an input and output data area, the process data is read in via the DeviceNet, processed in a controller and the process output data is output via the DeviceNet.
The automatically generated process image is created in the order of the expansion modules in their slots. The bits of the digital expansion modules are combined into bytes and appended to the analog data. If the number of digital I/Os exceeds 8 bits, an additional byte is started by the fieldbus node.
