Separates a digital signal from a
switch according to IEC1131 - Type 1,
2- or 3-wire NPN / PNP with 12 V or 22 V galvanic isolation.

The universal digital galvanic isolator WK112 galvanically isolates digital signals from switches according to IEC1131 - Type 1, NAMUR, phototransistor 2- or 3-wire NPN / PNP with 12 V or 22 V, reed and AICHI. Galvanic isolation prevents damage to the control unit due to overvoltage, interference or a defective sensor. The device is fully set via DIP switches and is immediately ready for operation. The signals in the output/power supply are completely galvanically isolated from the input. The WK112 is simply snapped onto a top-hat rail for installation.

22 V adjustable via DIP switch, maximum 400 Hz, maximum 28 V.
Sensor supply:
8V ±0.6 V, 12 V ±1 V and 22 V ±2 V with 22 mA
continuous load (approx. 35 mA peak). Sensor supply approx. 40 Ohm impedance.
Output:
2 simultaneous outputs, 1x PNP, 1x NPN, maximum 200 mA
per output, 30 V permanent and 50 V peak. Protected via a
self-repairing fuse.
Supply:
19.2 VDC to 30 VDC, power is supplied via the terminals or via the K-bus.
Short-circuit resistance:
1,500 VAC between input and supply/output 2-way.
