- Full access via VPN, e.g. for project changes or web-based access for diagnostics and visualization
- Connection of older controllers (via DF1 protocol) with USB to serial adapter.
- Free use of the Talk2M connection portal for central user and device management and for providing connection reports

The Ewon Flexy router complements remote access
through innovative data services
This includes data recording, visualization and alarming of values from the controller, which can be processed via various physical interfaces and protocols. Support ranges from the older PLC5, SLC500 and MicroLogix to the latest Micro800, FlexLogix, CompactLogix and ControlLogix models.
- Direct access to controller data via EtherNet.
- Data provision via OPC-UA, MQTT.
- Edge Gateway function with data pre-processing in BASIC and JAVA.
- Optional interface extensions for serial DF1 communication.
- Integrated Gateway function and protocol support from DF1 to EtherNet.
