The PLT 200 hand-held laser tachometer is a digital, battery-operated optical measuring device that can be used up to a distance of 8 m from the measuring point thanks to its laser. The ergonomic design allows a safe and simultaneous view of the measuring object and the display at the same time. The rubberized side surface ensures optimum one-handed operation.
The 32 internal functions of the laser tachometer allow it to be used as a tachometer, rev counter, totalizer, counter and timer. In addition, an external optical sensor or a contact sensor (measuring wheel, measuring tip) can be connected. The additional TTL pulse output allows the data to be forwarded to a measurement data acquisition system
Display
5-digit, 12 mm high brilliant alphanumeric LCD.
Keys
4 front buttons: Switch on the device and, when pressed, the RPM or speed is continuously recorded and displayed.
The tachometer can be programmed and the min. and MAX values called up via 3 buttons.
Laser sensor
Laser class 2M, max. output power 1mW, wavelength 650 nm, service life of the laser diode approx. 8,000 hours MTBF.

Forwards the external pulse input 1:1 or is activated as soon as the laser sensor detects a reflection. Output signal: 0 to +3.3 VDC.
