The Ethernet Switch ETHSW8 is an industrial-grade 2-layer switch with 8 Ethernet ports and was developed for use in very harsh and demanding industrial environments where large temperature differences, strong electrical interference and physical stress are not unknown.
For this reason, it is the ideal module for building management, water supply companies, power stations,
telecommunications installations, transportation monitoring and critical industrial applications.
The ETHSW8 has three different power supplies to ensure reliable operation. Trouble-free operation is ensured even if one supply fails. If a supply fails, the integrated relay output ensures a timely alarm.
Thanks to its special electrical design, the ETHSW8 withstands high electrical interference such as 15 kV ESD and ensures safe operation even under unnatural operating conditions.
