The wide range of interfaces, designs and applications available on the market is covered by a wide variety of Gateways.
Standards such as BACnet, M-Bus, KNX, Profinet, Profibus and Modbus RTU, which have been tried and tested millions of times worldwide, can be networked or connected quickly and easily.
With the various designs, the Gateways are suitable for any installation location.
The modular firmware structure provides you with globally proven standard functions, which you can, however, adapt very flexibly to the special requirements of your applications. Our Gateways are compatible with the interfaces of leading manufacturers and bus organizations.
The article designation
The article designation of Wachendorff gateways should always be viewed from the perspective of the gateway.
This means that if you have chosen the HD67044-B2-20 Gateway, for example, you will find the following terms in the item designation:
M-Bus Master / Modbus TCP Server
This means that the Gateway is an M-Bus master on the M-Bus side and a Modbus TCP server on the Modbus TCP side.
This means that you can connect M-Bus slaves to this Gateway on the M-Bus side and clients to this Gateway on the Modbus TCP side.
This explanation can be used as an example for all Wachendorff Gateways.

The A1 housing
The new, even slimmer (only 22.5 mm wide) and space-saving A1 design is ideal for installation in the control cabinet.
Top-hat rail mounting and removable screw terminals ensure quick and safe installation and easy wiring of the device.

The compact B2 design is ideal for installation in the sub-distribution board.

The robust industrial enclosure
This robust industrial housing is designed for applications that have to withstand extremely harsh environmental conditions. The Gateways in this special housing have a high tolerance to temperature fluctuations and vibrations, are protected against the effects of dust and moisture and are therefore predestined for extreme industrial applications.

Economical implementation and configuration
Thanks to top-hat rail mounting, plug-in screw terminals (for B2 housings) and the associated simple wiring of the device, we guarantee quick and safe installation. The Gateway can be integrated into your existing application in just a few simple steps.
The data points can be configured quickly and conveniently using simple, intuitive, multilingual and free configuration software on the PC. Just 5 configuration steps are required and you can transfer your finished project to the device via EtherNet.
The configuration software also allows you to archive the project and thus access your project planning at any time.
Thanks to the modular software structure, each Gateway variant has a separate configuration software module. This eliminates the need to install large software packages.

Safe Analyzer
The powerful CAN Analyzers in the HD series allow you to observe, monitor and analyze data transmission on the CAN or CANopen bus.
Simply integrate the Analyzer into your system and display all messages with a time stamp. Export the logged data to a spreadsheet program of your choice.
You can use the Analyzer to actively send messages on the CAN bus. This increases your flexibility, especially during the commissioning phase or when troubleshooting.

Readout module/scanner
You can use the scanner to conveniently read out the connected M-Bus devices. The module scans the M-Bus area via the primary or secondary addresses and shows you the variables of the connected M-Bus devices.
The module can address the M-Bus slaves as an M-Bus master or be integrated into an existing network as a slave.

Flexible repeaters / galvanic isolators
In addition to signal amplification, the repeaters also provide decoupling and galvanic isolation. The hardware architecture of the devices is designed in such a way that they can be used very flexibly for a wide variety of tasks, e.g. as pure amplifiers or as couplers between different bus segments.
Galvanic isolation
With the help of galvanic isolation, interference peaks from one bus segment are not transmitted to the other segment. This protects your valuable hardware from external influences. Voltage values of up to 4 kV can be realized on a customer-specific basis.Different baud rates
The two connected bus systems can be operated with different baud rates. This means that end devices that do not support all baud rates can also be integrated into your system.Cable extension
In all bus systems, the cable length and the baud rate are directly related. The higher the baud rate, the shorter the cable length. With these repeaters, the line length can be easily increased as both bus segments can be considered individually. Doubling the line length is already possible with a repeater.Data filter
The repeaters are also available with a built-in data filter. This allows you to easily set which messages are allowed through from bus "A" to bus "B". This reduces the bus load in the individual segments to the absolute minimum.

Glass fiber
Various devices are available with a fiber optic connection. This offers you many advantages:
- Increased electrical isolation
You can increase the electrical isolation by using a system with a pair of devices. Each of the devices converts copper to fiber optic.
- Increased range
With these devices, you have the option of extending the range between two devices by up to 2 km.
