The IFMR speed monitor processes an input frequency of 0.1 Hz to 25 kHz and switches a relay when a set frequency is exceeded or undershot or when the device comes to a standstill. The device can be easily programmed and monitored using a 7-pole DIP switch, a BCD rotary switch, a pushbutton and 2 LEDs. It is simply snapped onto the top hat or C-rail.
Inputs:
All commercially available sensors (PNP, NPN, permanent magnet, relay, CMOS or TTL) can be adapted via 3 DIP switches.
PNP: 1 kOhm pull-down resistor, max. 24 mA at 24 volts.
NPN: 3.9 kOhm pull-up resistor, max. 3 mA. low trigger hysteresis: Vlow = 0.25 V; Vhigh = 0.75 V. high trigger hysteresis: Vlow = 2.5 V; Vhigh = 3.0 V.

Red LED lights up when the output is active. Green LED lights up when signals are being received.
