Product discontinuation:
The signal converters for thermocouples of the ITMA series have been discontinued as of 31.12.2019. The last opportunity for you to order was 25.09.2019. We would be happy to advise you on alternatives, please contact our technical application support team.
The ITMA signal converter converts signals from a thermocouple or an mV signal into a 0/4 - 20 mA or 0-10 VDC standard signal. The output signal is linearly proportional to the input. The ITMA obtains its supply voltage either externally or from the current loop. The device is fully programmed via 8 DIP switches. It is simply snapped onto a rail for installation.
Entrance
Thermocouples J, K, T, E or mV signal. Range adjustable via DIP switch.
Output
ITMA2003: 4 - 20 mA, ripple < 15 mVSS, over 250 Ohm load resistance.
ITMA3035: 0/4 - 20 mA, ripple < 15 mVSS, over 250 Ohm
Power supply
ITMA2003: 12 - 42 VDC via current loop. Supply of the current loop must be loadable up to min. 30 mA. ITMA3035: 9 - 32 VDC; 1.75 W.
Response time
400 ms.
Wire break detection
Signal adjustable via DIP switch:
- 2003: Output 4-20 mA: 3.6 mA or 22.9 mA
- 3035: Output 0-20 mA: -0.5 mA or 22.5 mA
- Output 4-20 mA: 3.5 mA or 22.5 mA
- Output 0-10 V: -0.4 VDC or 11.5 VDC.
