The cMT-iM21 from Weintek is a latest generation touchscreen monitor designed exclusively for industrial applications. Equipped with HDMI video input, full HD display and 21.5-inch large screen, this touchscreen monitor product is capable of displaying the UI (user interface) and large amounts of data with amazing clarity. It has a very compact design and weighs only 4.9 kg, making it easy to install. The robust aluminum housing, scratch-resistant 6H tempered glass surface and NEMA4/IP65 protection rating ensure that the cMTiM21 can be used as a powerful monitoring assistant in harsh industrial environments.

However, the most interesting feature of the cMT-iM21 is its native compatibility with the cMT-FHDX-220. When using it as a touchscreen for the cMT-FHDX, simply connect the HDMI cable and the USB cable, i.e. plug and play without calibration or the installation of additional drivers. While the USB port of the cMT-FHDX is occupied by the USB cable used for the touch signal, the cMT-iM21 provides an additional USB port that can be used for another USB device and this USB device works as if it was connected to the cMT-FHDX. Additionally, the backlight of the cMTi-M21 is adjustable via digital signals, i.e. the backlight can be adjusted via the user interface of the cMT-FHDX or even within an EasyBuilder Pro project.

Through software and hardware integration with the cMT-FHDX, the cMTi-M21 offers a new type of large screen solution that will stimulate the HMI market with new ideas.
