The configurable gateway HD67048 enables communication between a CAN and an Ethernet system. It represents the connection between the CAN and the Ethernet in order to connect the physics of the systems. All CAN messages are transmitted unfiltered to the Ethernet, allowing two gateways to tunnel CAN messages via the Ethernet, for example.
Data can also be written to CAN from the Ethernet. The gateway then acts as a server. You can connect to the gateway with
any Ethernet client to the gateway in order to communicate via a specific Ethernet frame.
The gateway is easy to configure using the associated PC software via the RS232 interface.
Installation is simple and reliable on a DIN rail.
