The Netbiter Argos Device Cloud Extension for ThingWorx enables the connection between the ThingWorx Server and the Netbiter Argos Cloud to transfer data from distributed sites using the Netbiter EasyConnect Gateways.
It allows existing and new Netbiter customers to combine the features of Nebiter Argos with the capabilities of the ThingWorx IoT platform, such as augumented reality (AR) or advanced machine learning algorithms. The Netbiter Argos Cloud provides a REST API for integration into other applications.
The ThingWorx Extension uses the services of the Netbiter Argos REST API within the ThingWorx development environment. The ThingWorx developer can thus easily access data from distributed locations with Netbiter EasyConnect Gateways stored in the Netbiter Argos Cloud.
The functions of the extension can be used to read and write data and to access alarms and events from systems in the field. Trend data stored in Netbiter Argos can also be integrated. The configuration of the Netbiter solution is extremely simple thanks to device templates, and ready-made templates are already available for many devices.
The Netbiter EasyConnect Gateways allow a secure connection via mobile radio or broadband Internet. Field devices with EtherNet, serial interface (RS232, RS485) and digital and analog sensors can be connected via the integrated I/O interfaces. The Gateways are built to ensure reliable data transmission, data is cached to prevent loss in the event of a connection failure.
