The DITAK 8 is a low-cost, mains-independent tachometer that can process input frequencies up to 10 kHz and thus display revolutions and speeds. There are 2 different display types: non-illuminated standard LCD, as well as intensively illuminated brilliant LCD digits. A variable time base allows the adjustment between pulse sequence and display. The pulse input is designed for inductive two-wire sensors with permanent magnets. However, other sensors can also be connected. An internally non-replaceable lithium battery powers the standard LCD. The robust plastic housing achieves protection class IP65 from the front.

Power supply
DITAK 8 is always supplied with 3.6 VDC via an internally non-replaceable lithium battery, service life in continuous operation approx. 5 years. Devices with backlighting also require: 9 VDC to 28 VDC, 35 mA. Above 26 VDC, the permissible operating temperature drops to +50 °C.
